10 Reportedly Die In Crowd Stampede In Abuja…It’s 2nd Incident In The Country In One Week
At least 10 people have reportedly died in the crowd stampede that was recorded during the distribution of food parcels at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church , Maitama, Abuja, on Saturday morning.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident occurred when residents began to struggle to receive the food parcels and there was a stampede that resulted in the death of 10 people.
Residents of Mpape, Gishiri Village, and other nearby settlements had reportedly joined others to struggle for the food parcels.
The incident reportedly occurred between 7 am and 8 am on Saturday.
It was the second incident in the country in one week.
Recall that at least 35 children were killed and six others critically injured in a crowd crush at a funfair in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, on Wednesday.
