1445 AH Hajj: Kebbians Welcome Gov Nasir Idris Back To Birnin Kebbi
Residents of Kebbi state were at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi to welcome Governor Nasir Idris back to Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.
Recall that the governor had joined other Muslims across the world to perform the 1445 AH hajj exercise.
The governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement he issued in Birni Kebbi and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that ‘it is on record that the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has ranked Kebbi state as the best in the conduct of this year’s Hajj operation nationwide’.
Residents of the state, who came out in large numbers, gave Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris a warm welcome as he arrived at the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birni Kebbi on Saturday afternoon in company of his family and other top government officials.
‘It was a rousing welcome and goodwill from the crowd of supporters, friends and well-wishers who showed their love and support for him.
The Chairman of the Kebbi state 2024 Hajj Reception Committee, the Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena together with other members were also at the airport to receive the amiable governor.
On arrival in the state, the Kauran Gwandu and his entourage drove straight to Makerar Gandu in Birnin Kebbi to offer condolences to the family of late Islamic Scholar, Mallam Mukhtar Abubakar, who is his wife, Hajiya Zainab Nasare’s elder brother.
Comrade Nasir Idris paid a similar visit to Alhaji Abdullahi Umar, Wazirin Gwandu in Nasarawa to condole with him over the death of Alhaji Mansur Shehu, Dan Galadiman Wazirin Gwandu, and Chairman local Government Service Commission, who died in Abuja recently’ the statement said -Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
