1445AH Hajj: Stakeholders Praise  Oloriegbe’s Leadership , Acknowledge Gov AbdulRazaq’s Interventions… First Batch Of Pilgrims To Leave Ilorin May 20

Stakeholders who are  involved in the 1445 AH  Hajj exercise in Kwara state have commended Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe for his exceptional leadership and competence in handling tasks since his appointment as  leader of pilgrims from the state (Amirul-Hajj). 

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  by Dr Oloriegbe’s media aide, Mr Bolaji Aladie noted that the stakeholders gave the former senator commendation for a job well done during the 2nd Hajj Operation ‘Stakeholder Meeting; organized by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) at the General Tunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, on Thursday.

The  statement noted that  the meeting that was attended by the NAHCON Zonal Chairman, Alh. Afolabi Fijabi; the Airport Manager, Mrs. Yemisi Adebiyi; members of the Kwara state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, led by its Chairman, Prof. Mashood Mahmud Jimba; representatives from security agencies, among others served as a platform to discuss issues that centered on ensuring a smooth hajj exercise .

While giving briefings in respect of their readiness to make the first batch of pilgrims leave Ilorin for Saudi Arabia  on the 20th of May, 2024, they also  highlighted the significant interventions made by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq through Oloriegbe to ensure a hitch-free hajj exercise for pilgrims from Kwara state.

In his remarks,  Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe also acknowledged the support of Governor Abdulrazaq to ease this task and appealed for further cooperation, understanding, and unity among all stakeholders to ensure a successful hajj exercise.

 He also carried out a tour of inspection and assessed facilities at the airport and the State Hajj Camp ahead of hajj flights.

 The Amir-li-Hajj  also visited the Pilgrims Welfare Board Office in the Gerewu area of Ilorin to oversee the ongoing vaccination  for the pilgrims and other activities.

Oloriegbe urged  the prospective pilgrims to remain cooperative and coordinated in their engagements with officials of the board to avoid issues that could hinder  the smoothness  or the success of the 1445 hajj exercise—Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
