2 Die In Osun While Trying To Retrieve ‘Pulley’ From Well At Construction Site
Two middle-aged men have died while trying to retrieve an improvised pulley from a well at a construction site in Osun state.
They had reportedly used a bucket for the pulley which fell into the well and in an attempt to retrieve it , they sadly lost their lives.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident happened at about 1:09 pm at the construction site located opposite Ilesa Motor Park along Ife-Ilesa expressway.
It was also gathered that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Federal Fire Service officials later helped to bring out their bodies.
‘The unfortunate incident happened when the two workmen were drawing water from a deep well and the improvised pulley accidentally fell into the well.
According to eyewitness accounts, one of the workmen, in an attempt to retrieve the pulley,
entered the well, but unfortunately, he got trapped .
His co-worker, who made an attempt to rescue him , also got trapped .
