2 Killed By Falling Tree In Ilorin , 5 Injured
Two people died while five others were injured when a tree fell on them in the Sango area of Ilorin , Kwara state capital , on Monday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident happened near the Baystar filling station opposite Oke Andy junction at about 8 a.m . The victims were rushed to Olutayo hospital for medical attention. while some among them were later reportedly referred to the General Hospital, Surulere, and the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Oke-Oyi.
Some shop owners in the area especially a vulcanizer ,Malam Abdulrasheed, were lucky to have escaped death because they were yet to arrive at the place or open for business.
Spokesman for the Kwara state police command, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, a Superintendent of Police, in a short statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com confirmed the incident while also noting that it left two people dead.

Investigation into the matter is ongoing.
