Kebbi: 2 Suspected Lakurawa Bandits Killed By Joint Task Force In Dandi LG
Two suspected Lakurawa bandits have been killed by the Joint Task Force in Kebbi State while several others escaped with injuries during a successful operation that was carried out in Rubin Bisa and Fana Villages, Dandi Local Government.
‘The operation that was carried out on Wednesday was sequel to credible intelligence and surveillance reports’ a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Governor Nasir Idris’ Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki quoted the Director of Security, Alhaji AbdulRahman Zagga as saying.
Alhaji AbdulRahman Zagga ,who disclosed this at the Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi on Thursday, noted that the intervention followed a complaint made a week ago by the Chairman of Dandi LGA, Dr. Mansur Kamba, regarding activities of bandits in Fana and Rubin Bisa villages.
‘Governor Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, promptly directed the Joint Task Force to take action, leading to the successful ambush.
The Joint Task Force laid an ambush as the suspected Lakurawa bandits attempted to carry out their criminal activities.
Two of them were neutralized, while many others fled with fatal injuries’ Zagga explained.
