20-Year-Old Man  Rapes, Kills Girl After Tricking Her Into Entering Church In Ibadan

20-year-old Kolade Tosin has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Ibadan, Oyo state.

Kolade was arrested  for raping and killing a young woman, Ifeoluwa Apanpa, inside a church at Olodo , Ibadan..

Team@orientactualmags.com  learned he  confessed to raping and killing  Ifeoluwa   while being  shown to the public by the police at the state police headquarters,   Eleyele , Ibadan on Tuesday.

 ‘On 17th September, 2022, I  left my workplace and returned   home at about   1pm .  I  had told my boss that I wanted to go and ease myself, and he said I shouldn’t stay long.

When I got home, I took the church  keys because my mum is the cleaner of the church and I   left for the church.

I carried and moved all chairs to a place inside the church , I already knew the time Ifeoluwa would pass through our church to the church she attends. She eventually surfaced and I asked her to assist me to carry some of the chairs .

I took out  a knife from my pocket and I told her not to shout. I wanted to attack her and collect her phone but she tried to collect the knife from me and it fell .

She also fell down and hit her head  against the floor . While trying to escape, she got weak and I raped her. I took her phone and requested for her password, she gave me a wrong password, when I discovered this, I strangulated her’ he said.

 Oyo  state Police Commissioner, Adebowale Williams had also given details of how the suspect was arrested.

 Policemen at the  Iyana-Offa Divisional Police Headquarters were according to him informed of the sudden disappearance of Ifeoluwa, who  had left home  for church but never returned.

‘A search party was immediately organised to know what caused her disappearance. While this was ongoing, a call was placed to the parents of the deceased by an unknown caller stating clearly that  the deceased had been abducted’ he said.

The police chief  said preliminary investigation showed that the body of the deceased was later found beside a Bible school at Olodo area, with an evidence of vagina trauma.
