2023 Democracy Day : Gov AbdulRazaq Visits School For Special Needs
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) was at the school for special needs, Ilorin, the capital city, on Monday to spend quality time with the children there on Democracy Day.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that this was a not-so-surprising carryover of his deep affiliation with the underserved communities since his assumption of office in 2019.
Accompanied by school officials, the governor inspected some facilities in the school, including classrooms recently fixed by his administration and those freshly affected by rainstorms.
He later interacted with the school head, Mr. Abdulganiyu Olododo on pending issues in the school that once hosted the government’s budget review sessions — a gesture of goodwill AbdulRazaq said was meant to refocus attention on the plights of the students and other underserved communities in the state.
AbdulRazaq later took photographs with the elated children and their tutors and cheered them up, in a symbolic kind gesture of his commitment to always support the underprivileged to attain their full potentials -Team@orientactualmags.com
