Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has asserted that the ruling APC has delivered pretty much on its campaign promises .
Abdulrasaq’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the governor said this while addressing party members and supporters during the official campaign kickoff held by a member of the House of Representatives, Hon Raheem Tunji Olawuyi Ajulo-opin in Omu Aran, Irepodun local government, Kwara state on Friday.
Ajulo opin represents Isin/Irepodun/Ekiti/Oke-Ero federal constituency.
The governor said his administration is light-year apart from past administrations in meeting the basic needs of the populace and repositioning Kwara for sustainable growth.
AbdulRazaq also likened PDP’s comeback bid to a person who had defecated in a rented house and still wanted to occupy it after another person had carefully cleaned up the mess.
‘They want to take us backwards. No, we have moved on in Kwara. Is it in education, water, workers’ welfare, rural urban development, or health? What was their record to deserve a comeback? he queried, citing the outstanding achievements of the incumbent administration.
AbdulRazaq asked residents and citizens of the state to vote overwhelmingly for all APC candidates in the forthcoming general election.

AbdulRazaq also noted that the return of Ajulo-opin to the House of Representatives for a third term will make him become a ranking member and qualify him for the Speakership position.
‘It is important that we vote for and return Hon. Ajulo-opin to the Green Chamber for a third term, so that he can become one of the most ranking members. This will qualify him to become the House Speaker. There are various benefits that will come to Kwara if we vote for him to attain such a height’ he said.
Abdulrasaq said the government will execute more infrastructure projects in the district, including the completion of the rehabilitation of Omu-Aran Water Work to improve people’s access to potable water.
The Governor had earlier visited the palace of Olomu of Omu-aran, Oba Abdulraheem Adeoti, where he chronicled the projects executed by his administration in the town.
He also said the construction of the road leading to the palace will be approved soon.
AbdulRazaq told the Omu-Aran monarch that discussion was in progress with the African Development Bank and the Federal Government to fix the federal road in the town.

Highlight of the event was the official presentation of APC flags to Hon. Ajulo-opin , who is the party’s Isin/ Ekiti/Irepodun / Oke-Ero House of Representatives candidate.
