Kwara state PDP disclosed on Monday that the ‘Unified Campaign Council’ announced recently by the party will be inaugurated in Ilorin, the state capital, on Thursday.
The party also announced that it has brought two new people on board.
Kwara state PDP had continued to take necessary steps towards ensuring that the party records victory in the upcoming 2023 General Election in the state.
Though the party had a few weeks ago, announced Hon Babatunde Mahmud Ajeigbe as Chairman of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council in the state and former Speaker Ahmad Ali as Chairman of the state campaign council, Prince Tunji Morounfoye, who is the state Publicity Secretary, had noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com last week that the party had since come up with a unified campaign team that will be on the same page and work for the same goals.
The party , in separate statement on Monday, announced that the 547-member ‘Unified Campaign Council’ will be inaugurated on Thursday.
‘The Kwara state Peoples Democratic party (PDP) hereby invites all our teeming party members to the inauguration of our Unified Campaign Council for the Presidential, Gubernatorial , national assembly and state assembly elections.
We hereby announce that the inauguration will take place InshAllah on Thursday, the 15th December 2022, at the Mandate campaign office, Olorunsogo, Ilorin at 10am.
We urge all the members of the campaign council that will be inaugurated to be present and take their seats by 9am.
We also use this notice to announce the appointment of Mr. Lawal Akanbi Sharafadeen (Arab) as Director of Media of the state Campaign Council and Mr. Olushola Olusegun Adewara (Shollyment) as Head of Department, New Media of the state Campaign Council.
Mr. ‘Kayode Ogunlowo is the Director of Publicity , State Campaign Council.
While we congratulate the new appointees, we urge them to go straight to work on the task of unseating the incompetent and Mediocre All Progressive Congress (APC) regime in the state through our ballots in the 2023 general election .
