2023 NBA Annual Conference: Lawyers Walk Out On Portable At All-Night Party In Abuja…No, We Had ‘Desired’ Fun-Publicity Secretary

   As Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile popularly called Portable was performing during an all-night party in Abuja on Thursday, people began to walk out on him.

The audience, who are lawyers, are members of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, and the all-night party was held as part of the programmes  and activities  for the 2023 NBA Annual Conference.

The programme which was called ‘Unbarred’ was held at the Velodrome of the MKO Abiola Stadium.

 Timi Agbaje was expected to  be the compere  while DJ Skillz and Veentage Band were to entertain the lawyers.

The 2023 NBA Annual Conference has as its theme, “Getting it right: Charting the course for Nigeria’s Nation Building’.

After waiting for several hours, lawyers were  reportedly  disappointed  when they got informed that  Portable would be performing.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president, Nigerian Bar Association, NBA,  Yakubu Maikyau, had  given a short speech and a DJ entertained the lawyers before the controversial singer appeared on stage.

 ‘How dare they call Portable to come and play for lawyers at the conference? Can you imagine? Normally, ‘Unbarred’ doesn’t end till 3am or 4am but we are leaving for our hotels. We are so upset’  one of the lawyers reportedly submitted.
