Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun state has urged residents and citizens of the state to support the presidential bid of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who ,he noted, ‘is blessed with the Midas touch to improve the fortunes of the country’.
Spokesman for SWAGGA, Mr Kola Olabisi in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Oyetola said this during the opening ceremony of the Osun State headquarters of Osun South West Agenda (SWAGA) in Osogbo.

SWAGA is the leading support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the South West.
The governor ,who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, submitted that he believes fervently and religiously in the capability and ability of the APC presidential candidate as he had done more than the expectations of the people during his governorship in Lagos State.
Oyetola disclosed that it was for this reason that he donated the building to the Osun State SWAGA ’23 chapter as its office to support the campaign activities of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
‘Nothing is too much to contribute to the presidential campaign efforts of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as I am an ardent believer in it.
It is for this reason that I am donating this edifice to SWAGA to function as the Osun State Campaign Headquarters of our APC presidential candidate.
Let me use this occasion to appeal to everyone in the state and beyond that the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid should be a common project for all and sundry in Osun State and beyond as the APC candidate would be a round peg in a round hole as the next President of Nigeria’ Oyetola said.
The governor’s wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, who also graced the occasion, attested to the fact that Asiwaju had done a lot as governor of Lagos State , adding that it was her conviction that Nigeria needs Asiwaju to be in charge of its affairs .
Oyetola’s wife enjoined all the Yoruba sons and daughters to come together and vote for Asiwaju while promising one million votes for the APC presidential candidate in the state.
‘There’s no one who could be suitable to be Nigeria’s next President except Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he is the Awolowo of our time. Though Awolowo never became the President but his prayer would be fulfilled with Tinubu’s success in the presidential election.
Any Yoruba man who is against the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing a monumental disservice to the Yoruba nation.
I identify with the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because I believe in his capability and ability to deliver. Asiwaju is sellable with his outstanding performance. Nothing has to do with Tinubu’s age’ the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi, also submitted.
The National Coordinator of SWAGA, former Senator Dayo Adeyeye, who was represented by Honourable Oyetunde Ojo, recalled how the leading support group was started in Osun State and how Asiwaju Tinubu rebuilt the late Col. Adekunle Fajuyi’s house in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Adeyeye reminded the people that the likes of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu rarely emerge in a generation; saying ‘he thinks before he talks; he is not a lazy man; he works round the clock; he is energetic; he is a deep thinker and highly knowledgeable’ .
‘Let’s join hands to elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of this nation and I am convinced that he will not disappoint.
The traditional rulers too have a duty to play in the election of Asiwaju Tinubu as the next President. The man who can turn around the fortunes of this nation is Asiwaju Tinubu’ he added.
In her welcome address, the Osun State Chairman of SWAGA, Hon(Mrs) Ayo Omidiran, appreciated Governor Oyetola for donating the building to the support group with a pledge to make a maximum use of it for the intended purpose .
‘I have the honour and privilege to inform everyone that this building is open to the use of all verified Tinubu Support groups in Osun State.
We are for Asiwaju in Osun State. It is only Tinubu that towers above all other presidential candidates in Nigeria. Let’s vote for him in February next year’ she said.
National officers of SWAGA at the event include Hon Bosun Oladele, National Secretary; Hon Rotimi Makinde; Hon Deji Jakande; Hon Biodun Bakare; Hon Ibrahim Raji, the North-Central Coordinator and Hon Olajide Sunday David.
Also at the event was the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi- Team@orientactualmags.com
