Ibadan indigenes, who are Owu people, will on December 20, 2025, gather to celebrate the 2025 Owu Festival (Odun Omo Olowu).

It is an event that brings together all indigenes of Oyo State capital who have Owu ancestry.
The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Olugbode Palace, Ita-Baale, Ibadan.
‘The festival is a grand annual celebration that brings together all the sons and daughters of Owu in Ibadanland and beyond to celebrate our rich culture, unity, and heritage.
It is a platform to honour our traditions, strengthen community bonds, and foster the spirit of togetherness among our people. We look forward to welcoming everyone with open arms and royal hospitality as we celebrate another glorious edition of Odun Omo Olowu.
