2026 Osun Guber Election: APC Says Primary ‘ll Hold Dec 13, Asks Aspirants To Pay N50m

Ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold in Osun State on August 8, 2026, APC has asked party members in the State of the Living Spring, who are seeking to participate in its upcoming primary election, to pay N50 million for the nomination and expression of interest forms.

The party has also released primary election timetable.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), had announced that governorship election will hold in the state on August 8, 2026.

APC has disclosed that the delegates congress will hold on December 9, while the party’s primary election will hold on December 13, 2025.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that APC National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Argungu, who disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, noted that the election process will commence with the notice of election to the State Chapter on Friday, October 3, 2025, while the update of the membership register will run from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 31st October 2025.

‘Members whose names appear on the Register and are up to date in paying their membership dues over the past year up to February 2025 will be eligible to vote and be voted for.

The sale of Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms commences on Wednesday, November 12,  2025.

The last day for submission of completed Nomination Form, Expression of Interest Forms, and accompanying documents & submission of Delegate Forms is Monday, 1st December 2025.

Female Aspirants and Persons with Disabilities are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form while the Nomination Form is free.

 Youths aged 25 to 40 are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form with a 50% discount on the Nomination Form’ the statement added.

The party noted that ₦10,000,000 will be paid for expression of Interest Form, ₦40,000,000 for nomination form and ₦5,000 for the Delegate Form.

‘Forms will be available at the APC Directorate of Organization in Abuja. “Expression of Interest Form and Nomination Form will be available for purchase at the Directorate of Organization, 2nd Floor, APC National Headquarters, No. 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja.

 Members to elect delegates must be financial members of the Party for not less than three months before the delegate congress at the rate of 200 per month.
