2026 Osun Guber: Gov Adeleke May Announce Decision To Quit PDP This Week…Accord, APGA ‘Under Consideration’-Oyinlola
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, who is currently out of the country, may before the end of the current week announce his decision to leave the PDP and choose a new party ahead of the 2026 Osun State Gubernatorial election, one of his predecessors, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has submitted.
The former governor, a retired General, cited intractable intraparty conflict in the PDP.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, who said this while appearing on Rave FM’s Oro Oselu programme on Monday, disclosed that Accord Party and APGA are under consideration while ruling out ADC and APC.
Rave FM is a private radio station in Osogbo, the state capital.

While hinting at the possibility of Governor Adeleke saying ‘To your tents, O Israel!’ and kissing PDP bye this week, Prince Oyinlola however noted that he will only join the governor in defecting to a new political party if he chooses one that aligns with his principles.
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola also noted that he was unfairly treated by APC leaders after the party earned electoral victory and became the ruling party in 2015 despite his role during its formative stage.
‘There was a time that we considered moving to the APC, but I told them that I know that party very well and will not follow them there. My stance remains the same.
The APC does not honour promises. As secretary of the New PDP during APC’s formative stage, I received nothing for my efforts. My decision to move with Adeleke depends on the party we choose. If it’s a party I do not believe in, I will not join.
If we were to opt for APGA, it will be a one-time offer arrangement sort of. The Accord party is a fair option. I know how the Accord party was formed and its founder, Olusegun Obasanjo. I was involved in the formation of the African Democratic Congress, but it did not meet expectations and has lingering issues, despite the fact that some prominent politicians are there now.
When the governor returns this week, we will deliberate and inform the people of Osun State of our decision’ he said.-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
