2026 Osun Guber: Rep Wole Oke Predicts Easy Win For Bola Oyebamiji, Says Accord Party, PDP Candidates May Be Derecognized

Ahead of the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election, a member of the House of Representatives from the state, Rep Busayo Oluwole Oke, has submitted that there is a high possibility that the state PDP and Accord Party will not have the names of their candidates included in the list of candidates for the guber election in question by the electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Gubernatorial election is expected to hold in Osun State on August 8, 2026, and Governor Ademola Adeleke has won the Accord Party nomination while the Kabiru Turaki-led faction of the PDP has also produced Hon Adebayo Olugbenga Adedamola as its candidate.

APC guber primary will hold in Osogbo on Saturday and Mr Bola Oyebamiji has already emerged as ‘consensus candidate’.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the federal lawmaker, who introduced a new dimension to issues that have to do with the upcoming guber election in the state in a Facebook post on Thursday, not only said the incumbent governor, Asiwaju Ademola Adeleke may not eventually have the opportunity to stand as candidate, but also asserted that Mr Bola Oyebamiji, who is expected to be the APC guber candidate, will win the election easily.

Hon Wole Oke represents Ijesha North federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

‘There is nothing happening that I have not predicted. PDP will not get 500 votes in Esa Oke.

PDP will not get 1,500 Votes in Oriade South LCDA . PDP may not even have a candidate on the ballot neither would ACCORD as it’s looking . Electoral Act is very special and distinct.
