2027: Get Ready To Challenge Them, Kwankwaso Tells Supporters As Gov Yusuf, LG Chairmen, Others Dump NNPP
Leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, who is also an NNPP bigwig, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has submitted that he has never at any point in time placed personal gain above principles while adding that changing things for the better in the country has always been his priority.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State, said this on Friday while addressing NNPP supporters at his Kano residence shortly after it was reported in the news that Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State, Local Government Chairmen in the state, federal lawmakers and others have resigned from the party.
‘I’m not for sale. Our political convictions keep me grounded. If I were in it for personal gain, I would have taken the easy route and you would be looking for me elsewhere, not in this place.
Our shared vision is what keeps me going. If I were motivated by greed, I would have taken the money and run, and you would not be here showing your support’ he said.
Alhaji Kwankwaso, a one-time Minister for Defence, also emphasized the need for his supporters to begin early mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election to ensure that the Kwankwasiyah Movement remains in existence.
‘We need people like you who have sacrificed and stood by the truth. You should not relent, because one day, we will achieve our objectives.
Going by what is happening in Kano today, we need to start preparing because there are people hell-bent on destroying what we built over time.
