2027: Peter Obi Will Lose My Support If He Accepts To Become Vice Presidential Candidate-Pat Utomi
Professor Pat Utomi, a political economist, has threatened that former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi will lose his support if he accepts to become vice presidential candidate of any political party ahead of the 2027 presidential election .
Recall that Mr Peter Obi ,who was the LP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, had on Wednesday announced his decision to leave LP for ADC.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Utomi said this while appearing on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Thursday.
‘Peter Obi will contest for the presidency. The day he becomes somebody’s vice president, I will walk away from his corner. I can tell you that for a fact.
Something very important for this election to bear in mind, the Nigerian presidency has become a retirement home, where people go for the Nigerian State to pay their medical bills. It is not acceptable’ he said.
Professor Utomi also said there is a need to stop septuagenarians from seeking to become governor or president in the country.
‘Nobody over the age of 70 years should run for an executive position whether it be governor or president.
Yes, people can stay in the legislature till their 75, possibly even close to 80, but the Nigerian people must not continue to tolerate presidency being where we keep people who need medical attention’ he added–Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
