2027 Presidential Election: Ex- Campaign Spokesperson Hints At Peter Obi Standing As ‘Independent Candidate’
Nana Kazaure, who served as spokesperson for the Obi-Datti campaign organization in the 2023 presidential election, has hinted at Mr Peter Obi standing as an independent candidate in the 2027 presidential election.
Mr Peter Obi was the LP presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Nana Kazaure, who said this while talking to journalists at the weekend, also asserted that the former Anambra State governor can defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election because his popularity has increased especially among the young people .
‘Peter Obi is the one that the young people want. We even have more youths now supporting Obi especially as they are more disappointed with this government than before’ Kazaure said.
The former campaign spokesperson also noted that the intraparty conflict in the Labour Party may make Mr Peter Obi stand as an independent candidate in the next presidential election while expressing hope that the National Assembly will pass the independent candidate bill into law before the next General Election
