24-Year-Old Poly Student Commits Suicide In Adamawa After Getting Dumped By Boyfriend

^{Jemima Shetima-Balami, a student at the Department of Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic Mubi , Adamawa state, has embarked on a voluntary trip to the great beyond.}

^{24-year-old Jemima ,an ND2 student, was until her death having her industrial attachment  at the Adamawa state Television, Yola.}

It was gathered that she drank rodenticides because her boyfriend, who is said to be a lecturer  at the Modibbo Adama University, broke up with her.

Jemima ,who was  said to be her father’s only daughter,  died at her family’s residence  at Vinikilang, close ,  Yola.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that spokesman for the police in the state , SP Yahaya Suleiman, confirmed the incident on Monday.

He disclosed that Jemima’s father , an indigene of Garkida , Gombi Local Government, Adamawa state, had informed the police of the incident.

‘ Jamima’s father  reported that she committed suicide by taking a deadly substance. Another version had it that she visited her boyfriend, a lecturer at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, who told  her he was quitting  the relationship.

Angered by the news from her boyfriend, the deceased young woman  took poison. We are investigating the matter, and justice will be served’ Yahaya said.
