Raphael Dwamena, a Ghanaian footballer, has died after collapsing on the pitch during an Albanian Superliga game between FK Egnatia and KF Partizani.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the 28-year-old footballer collapsed in the 23rd minute of the game and he was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared a Brought In Dead patient.
Dwamena reportedly had an Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator placed in his chest. due to a pre-existing heart problem.
‘Rest in Peace to KF Egnatia’s Raphael Dwamena. The Ghanaian collapsed on the pitch during the Superliga match between Egnatia and Partizani. He later passed away in the hospital at the age of 28’ Albania Footy wrote on X.
‘Raphael represented Ghana wholeheartedly and paid his dues to the country until his unfortunate passing. We will forever miss him for his dedication to the National Coarse.
