3 Abducted Kwara Residents Rescued By Police
Three among five abducted residents of Kwara State including Fatima Wasiu, and Kudus Wasiu have been rescued by the police.
Spokesperson for the Kwara State Police Command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, a Superintendent of Police, who disclosed this in a statement she issued in Ilorin on Tuesday and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com, said efforts are being made to rescue the remaining two people unhurt and also ensure that those who carried out the abduction are arrested and brought to justice.
‘In another daring approach in the fight against kidnapping, banditry and all forms of criminality, the Kwara State police command under Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo’s pragmatic leadership in yet another quick response, rescued victims of the kidnapping incident reported in Igbonla Community.
Following a distress call on Sunday, 2nd November, 2025. Armed men gained access to a residential building shooting sporadically, a combined team of the police detectives, local vigilantes and hunters were quickly mobilized to the location.
The swift action led to the successful rescue of three kidnapped victims unhurt; Fatima Wasiu, Kudus Wasiu, and her six months old daughter, while efforts are in top gear to rescue the remaining two victims Wasiu Salihu, Abdullahi Sefiu; and arrest the perpetrators.
