3 Cops Providing Security For Rarara Dismissed For Misusing Their Weapons
Three policemen, who were attached to the Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 1, Kano, have been dismissed.
They were dismissed from the force for misusing their weapons.
They had undergone orderly room trial by the Force Provost Marshal for misuse of firearms, abuse of power, gross indiscipline, and wastage of live ammunition.
A statement issued and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the Force PRO, Mr Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a Chief Superintendent of Police, said the officers were dismissed following the approval of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba on Thursday.
The statement noted that the dismissed cops are; Inspector Dahiru Shuaibu, Sgt. Abdullahi Badamasi, and Sgt. Isah Danladi .
Their dismissal was sequel to a viral video where the officers, who were providing security for a popular musician, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, were seen firing into the air amongst a crowd comprising civilians including children- Team@orientactualmags.com
