30-Year -Old Man Arrested For Raping 9-Year –Old Girl In Kebbi
30-year-old Christopher Pills has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Kebbi state.
He has been accused of statutory rape.
Christopher reportedly raped a 9-year –old girl in Bena , Danko/Wasagu local government, Kebbi state.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the state Commissioner of Police , Mr Ahmed Magaji-Kontagora, disclosed this in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday.
Magaji-Kontagora added that Christopher was arrested after the father of the girl, Mr Lawrence Johnson reported that he had canal knowledge of his daughter.
The CP , who had since promised that the suspect would be taken to court after completion of investigation, added that the Police had also arrested Anas Dantalli, 19, of Nawada Illela Kwaido in Augie Local Government for allegedly raping a young girl.
The Kebbi state police chief said Mr Rugga Aliyu of Mashekari Illela Kwaido, Augie LG had reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Augie that Dantalli sexually harassed his daughters while rearing goats and sheep in the bush.
Magaji-Kontagora said the suspect allegedly grabbed one of the girls and forcefully had sexual intercourse with her, he has also assured that the suspect would be arraigned after the completion of investigation.
In another development, Mudasiru Haruna of Kwanawa Village, Arewa Local government has also been arrested for alleged armed robbery and culpable homicide.
He had reportedly asked a motorcyclist; Aliyu Lawal to take him to Tago village from Yeldu town and while in transit, Mudasiru had told the motorcyclist to stop in order that he could pick one of his shoes that had slipped off and he suddenly attacked him and later took his motorcycle away.
‘Mudasiru suddenly picked a stone and hit the motorcyclist in the head, as a result, he fell down unconscious and the suspect took away the motorcycle and gave it to Usman Alias ‘Charger’ who subsequently sold it to one Lawali Gulma, now at large.
In the course of investigation, the suspect has confessed to the crime. Mudasiru also said he got the sum of N100,000, being part payment of the stolen motorcycle which has been recovered while investigation into the case is still in progress’ the CP said- Team@orientactualmags.com
