30-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Helping To Sell 7 Stolen Tricycles In Bauchi

Maryam Ibrahim aka Ummi, who is 30 years old, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Bauchi state.

She has been accused of helping to sell 7 stolen tricycles at different times.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Spokesman for Bauchi state  Police Command , Mr. Ahmed Wakil, disclosed this during the news conference he presided over in Bauchi on Tuesday.

He noted that four young men allegedly stole the tricycles in question which were ‘marketed’ and sold by the young woman.

‘Maryam Ibrahim alias Ummi ‘f’ aged 30 years, Adamu Sale alias Brother ‘m’ age 30 years, Umar Ibrahim alias Baba Luti 31 years, Nasiru Usman ‘m’ aged 29 years, Nasiru Musa Umar alias Nass ‘m’ aged 27 years.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that Maryam has sold approximately seven stolen tricycles within Bauchi.

This successful operation was made possible through credible intelligence regarding suspicious activities and the hard work of the State Intelligence Department of the Bauchi State Police Command’ he said.

While noting that the 7 tricycles have since been recovered, Ahmed Wakil also warned that ‘engaging in receipt of stolen property is a serious offense with severe consequences, according to Section 427 of the Criminal Code Act in Nigeria’.
