32-Year-Old Madman Shot Dead After Beheading Octogenarian In Ogun
A mentally ill 32-year-old man, David Shodola, has been shot dead in Ipara, Remo-North Local Government, Ogun state.
This had happened a few minutes after he went berserk and beheaded 84-year-old , Pa Alfred Opadipe.
Residents stood open-mouthed and stared at the remains of Ogundipe with their mouth wide open ,and they had had promptly informed the police.
David Shodola was later shot dead by policemen.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Spokesperson for the state Police command, Omotola Odutola, also confirmed the incident in a short statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday.
‘The Divisional Police Officer, Isara, CSP Bankole Eluyeru, made an attempt to arrest the suspect, but he used the machete on the DPO and his men. The police succeeded in neutralizing the suspect and the weapon was recovered from him’ she submitted.
Odutola, however, noted that the suspect being mentally ill was not ascertainable based on the information gathered by the police-Team@orientactualmags.com
