54-Year-Old Man, Son Beat Neighbour’s Wife To Death In Ogun

Chizoke Obiadada, who is 54 years old, and his 17-year-old son, Michael, have been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Ogun state for beating their neighbour’s wife, Tope Owoade, to death.
Spokesperson for the state police command, Omolola Odutola, a Superintendent of Police, said the incident occurred on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Obiadada and his son were said to have engaged in a fight with the deceased woman after she had insisted that nobody should sit on a table that she used in selling cow skin popularly called ponmo.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the suspects were picked up after Tope’s husband , Isiaka Owoade, reported the incident to the police at the Ogijo divisional office.
‘Owoade (the husband) narrated that on March 29, 2024, when he returned from a journey, his late wife informed him that on the previous day which was March 28, 2024, at about 2030hrs, one Chizoke Obiadada, ‘m’ 54 years (old), and his son, one Micheal Obiadada, ‘m’ 17 years (old), his known neighbours, hacked his wife in fits blows, beating her up mercilessly, by inflicting fatal injuries on her. This resulted in her bleeding severely from the womb and her private part , she had asked the two of them not to sit on the table she uses to sell cow skin, ponmo. He stated that his wife was rushed to Main Frame Private Hospital and Kunle Hospital, Atan Agowa, but she was rejected.
He further stated that his wife gave up the ghost while she was being taken to a government hospital. After receiving this report, the Ogijo Divisional Police Officer immediately ordered the arrest of the culprits and (they) are currently undergoing preliminary investigations’ the statement said.
