65th Birthday: El-Rufai Thanks Prominent Nigerians Who Sent Birthday Wishes Including Those Who Waited For Tinubu To Amp It Up

Former governor Nasir El-Rufai on Monday thanked those who took time out to make his 65th birthday ‘special’ by sending him birthday wishes.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the former minister, who took to X.com to thank friends and prominent Nigerians who wished him a happy birthday, also taunted those who waited until President Bola Tinubu amped it up before issuing press statements in this respect.
El-Rufai, who was born on February 16, 1960, turned 65 on February 16, 2025.
‘I want to thank everyone who sent me their prayers and best wishes, including those that didn’t want to until President Tinubu’s message shamed them into action.
May the Almighty God accept our prayers and continue to shower his blessings on us and our people.
It has been about a week since many friends, associates and admirers sent me various messages and prayers in commemoration of my 65th birthday.
The prayers and good wishes were quite humbling and gratifying, but far too many and overwhelming for individual acknowledgement or response by me, hence this message.
I have tried to repost, retweet and share all the birthday messages I received, but as an imperfect mortal, I am sure I couldn’t have done all. If I didn’t with yours, please forgive me. It is an omission of the head, not of the heart’ he wrote

‘May Almighty Allah grant us even longer life, in good health, happiness and prosperity, in a Nigeria that flourishes as a beacon of progressive governance, democracy and equal opportunity for all. Thank you all, and God Bless’ the former governor added.
Recall that the developments recorded towards the end of March last year had made it become clear that the good relationship between Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has been dealt a blow.
Huge cracks had since become visible in the wall of Kaduna state APC and the cracks are becoming too wide for mere fingers to fix them.
It had begun with the governor lamenting during a Town Hall Meeting last year that Nasir El-Rufai left a humongous debt for his administration adding that what is now available to the state is not enough to pay salary.
The gap created in the relationship between Governor Sanni and his immediate predecessor was never bridged-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
