APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu told a crowd of APC members and supporters in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, on Saturday that he would ensure that Nigeria becomes Africa’s agricultural hub, if elected as president on February 25 .
‘We will replace the violence and weapons in parts of the country with agricultural machinery and further turn around the fortunes of this state and Nigeria.
We will work with Kebbi State and effectively manage the economy of the country.
I have a lot of friends here and I cherish this bond. It has been long and we should stay united.
We are doing our best for this country and Governor Atiku Bagudu is doing his best for this state. Atiku is a good man’ he said.
Tinubu further noted that Kebbi state has become one of the largest rice producers in Africa while promising to revive the economic cooperation between Lagos and Kebbi States and initiate moves to rejuvenate the economies of the two states and the nation at large.

The APC presidential candidate also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for giving his best to Nigeria and Atiku for doing the same in Kebbi State.
He acknowledged the invaluable contribution of the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN and other prominent citizens of the state to national growth and development.
Tinubu said Kebbi State is indispensable when it comes to the political ecosystem in Nigeria, promising to do his best to improve the economy of the nation.
He also promised to revamp the fishery industry in Argungu, as well as initiate robust agro-allied firms across the country.
Tinubu further promised to come up with efficient farmers’ cooperative societies to enable farmers to easily access agricultural financing.
He also hailed the people of the state for their show of love and support for the APC, urging them to shun what he calls lies of some ‘political bankrupts’.
‘We are here not to campaign but to tell you our hearts. We will bring more development to Nigeria and Kebbi State.
Get hold of your PVCs and go out en masse on the election days and vote for APC candidates from top to bottom.
Show them who controls Kebbi. Show them that you are courageous and great’ he said.
Also speaking, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu commended the people of the state for coming out in large numbers to attend the rally.
Bagudu, who is the Chairman of APC Governors’ Forum, expressed optimism that the historic event has shown that scent of victory was already in the air adding that APC would record landslide victory in the forthcoming elections.

Kebbi state APC governorship candidate, Dr Nasiru Idris,Kauran Gwandu also noted that the mammoth crowd ‘is an indication of hope’.
‘The combination of Tinubu and Shettima is an extraordinary one as both were former Governors and former Senators.
Kebbi is wholly APC and we are proud with the glaring achievements of Bagudu of which I will consolidate upon.
President Muhammadu Buhari is also doing a marvelous job for Nigeria’ Idris said.
In his remarks, Abubakar Malami, SAN, the Minister of Justice expressed optimism that Tinubu would succeed Buhari to sustain the myriad of achievements of the APC-led administration in the last eight years.
‘It’s payback time, so come out en masse during the polls and vote for APC candidates at all levels’ he said.
The State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana also appreciated the tremendous show of love and support to the party by the people of the state.
‘Please kindly translate all these into massive votes for APC on the election days’ he said.

Earlier, the National Chairman of APC, former Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the Director General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Simon Lalong, the wife of Kebbi State Governor, Hajiya Aishatu Atiku Bagudu and the Director General of Kebbi State APC campaign Council, Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, had in separate speeches urged support for the APC candidates.

They called on the people of the state and the country in general to vote for APC from top to bottom.
Governor Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that highlights of the presidential rally include the presentation of fish to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the Fish Sellers Association of Kebbi state.
