Supporting Tinubu For President  ‘The Right Thing To Do’ –  Gov Bagudu

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state has said supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to become Nigeria’s next President will be the right thing to do by Kebbians and other Nigerians.

Bagudu, who is the Chairman of the  APC Progressives Governors’ Forum, said  this in Koko town, Koko Besse local Government on Monday while addressing thousands of APC supporters in continuation of the statewide APC campaign rally.

The governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yahaya Sarki  noted  in a statement made available to  Team@orientactualmags.com  that Bagudu restated that APC had chosen Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as  presidential candidate and Kashim Shatima as his running mate in the best interest of Nigeria.

‘Supporting the candidacy of Tinubu is the right thing to do for the North since he led the South West to support President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

 It is only expedient for the North to support Asiwaju, the North is known for keeping its word. This will ensure peace and development’  he assured.

Bagudu also told the gathering that the party has settled for Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, a respectable gentleman and an eminent labour leader as the governorship candidate, urging them to support  Kaura and Tafida.

He also called on the people of the area to vote for Alhaji Shehu Muhammad, Dan Fari as member of the  House of Representatives for Koko/Maiyama Federal Constituency and Hon. Abubakar Imam for the State House of Assembly.

Bagudu reminded women in the area of the ongoing Nigeria for Women Project empowerment programme and urged them to take advantage of it.

‘Eighteen thousand women will benefit from Nigeria for Women Project in Koko Besse, the programme is ongoing so don’t be left out’  he said.

The governor , who is the Kebbi Central APC senate candidate,  also expressed gratitude to the women for attending the rally in large numbers while thanking them for their patience and for receiving the APC campaign trail warmly.

 APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu  also thanked  the people of Koko for  showing  massive support  for APC.

He assured them that, if elected as governor, his administration would introduce empowerment programnes and boost businesses for the people of the area and provide meaningful projects .

The Chairman of Koko Local Government Area, Hon. Yahaya Bello, the State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Abubakar Imam Maye, Alhaji Isah Dan Madina, a staunch APC member in the area and Alhaji Shehu Muhammad, Dan Fari, APC candidate for the House of Representatives, all appreciated people of Koko for  supporting APC.

APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi Central, Alhaji Abubakar Bello Matawallen Bunza and Hajiya Fatima, women leader, urged support for APC, saying the party is an organized one for the people of Kebbi State.
