Kwara Gov Accused Of Engaging In Financial Inducement Ahead Of General Election
Ahead of the 2023 general election which begins with the presidential and national assembly elections tomorrow, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, has accused Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of engaging in financial inducement.
Oba, who is Alhaji Andulahi Yaman’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday that this was in response to an allegation of vote buying and financial inducement of some police officers raised against the governor, noting that it was not expected that the state Chief Executive could resort to ‘such criminalities in a desperate bid for an unmerited second term’.
Alhaji Shuaib Yaman Abdulahi is the Kwara state PDP guber candidate.
‘According to reliable sources, the Kwara state government has been transferring money to the bank accounts of individuals including police officers through fortis mobile money with a narration of suregate Kwara State Government’ Alhaji Oba alleged while adding that ‘after almost four years of failed opportunities to make positive impacts and footprints in the sand of time, AbdulRahman is now one-on-one with his failures and imminent political oblivion and, therefore, desperate to swim through the mud’.
‘The Nigeria Police Force, especially, those in the Kwara state Command, are gallant men and women who have been making unprecedented sacrifices to protect and sustain our growing democracy and will not now succumb to any form of pressure or financial inducement to circumvent the rule of law thereby jeopardizing their sacrifices over the years’ the statement added.
He urged kwarans, who had allegedly received the said alerts, to vote out the APC tomorrow, Saturday, February 25 and the 11th of March to ensure a prosperous Kwara and a secured country- Team@orientactualmags.com
