Kebbi APC Urges Support For Nasiru Idris Ahead Of Guber Election
Kebbi state APC on Wednesday expressed immense appreciation to its teeming supporters and other people in the state for voting massively for the party in the presidential election held on Saturday which, it noted, had facilitated the victory of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
The State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Isah Assalafi , who presided over a press conference in Birni Kebbi which was attended by journalists including Team@orientactualmags.com , noted that although the APC had lost some Senate and House of Representatives seats to the opposition, the outcome did not in any way affect the strength of the party but had rather galvanized and strengthened its resolve to win the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections on March 11.
He urged the people of Kebbi State to come out in large numbers to vote for the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and all the state house of assembly candidates.
‘ I urge our supporters and the people of Kebbi State to come out and vote massively for our gubernatorial candidate, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu’ he said.
On the outcome of the Kebbi Central Senate election, Alhaji Isah Assalafi disclosed that the APC has questioned the election results and will take necessary steps after gathering necessary facts and evidence.
He said the party would also require INEC to expedite action on addressing the Kebbi North senate election and the House of Representatives elections in Dandi/Arewa Federal Constituency and Koko-Besse/Maiyama Federal Constituency which had been declared inconclusive.
He thanked the people of Kebbi State for maintaining peace, law and order before, during and after the elections held last week while urging them to maintain the tempo in the upcoming gubernatorial and state assembly elections and ensure a total victory for the APC– Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
