Newly elected representative of Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Sanya Omirin has urged the people of Ijesaland to ignore the false alarm raised by Chief Akinyemi Olusegun Fasakin in respect of the Ilesha University project describing what he had said about the matter at hand as baseless and misleading.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned Hon Omirin ,who said this during an interview with Uniq FM, a private radio station in Ilesa, said Governor Ademola Adeleke has never veered off course with regard to the university project noting that ‘what he intends to do with the Ilesa University project is to make the institution stand on a very strong foundation like the Osun state University that was established by the Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola administration’.
Hon. Omirin added that the governor wants Ilesa University to become a World- class institution where there will be no strike actions as a result of industrial acrimony saying ‘the university will be one which everybody will be proud of’.
Several stakeholders had according to him expressed reservations about making the Osun state College of Education, Ilesa become a degree-awarding institution which would have to be addressed by the present administration.
He said Governor Ademola Adeleke loves the Ijesa people and will not do anything to spite them.
Hon. Omirin also submitted that the university will soon take off on a very strong platform and foundation while calling on the good people of Ijesaland to vote for all the PDP Candidates in the House of Assembly election scheduled to hold on March 18 .
In another development, Hon Sanya Omirin in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Mr Olumide Osunlana has, also, once again, thanked electors in Ijesha South federal constituency for considering him the ‘most electable candidate’ in the House of Representatives election held last month noting that he will not take this for granted.
He has also promised the Ijesha South people quality representation.
‘I thank the Ijesha South people from the bottom of my heart , I sincerely appreciate them for what they did on February 25 2023, I will definitely not take this for granted.
