
A former member of the House of Representatives in Kwara state , Alhaji Wahab Isa, has left the PDP for the APC.
Isa, who at different times, served as Chairman, Ilorin South local government , representative of Ilorin South/Ilorin East federal constituency in the House of Representatives and the Director General, Mandate House, was also the Ilorin South/Ilorin East PDP reps candidate in the House of Representatives election held on February 25 2023.
Alhaji Wahab Issa met with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the Government House, Ilorin on Wednesday to ‘seal’ his defection to the governing APC.
‘The last few days have seen hundreds of opposition elements defect to the ruling APC, all of them hinging their decision on the ‘excellent performance’ of Governor AbdulRazaq who is standing for re-election in the election scheduled to hold on Saturday’ a Government House statement said on Wednesday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the leading PDP and ADC defectors included former Senator Suleiman Makanjuola Ajadi; Hon Gbenga Power, former commissioner for Sports, Alhaji Kale Ayo; former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Aisha Ahman Patigi; Haruna Likpata; Dr Bukola Saraki’s cousin, Ope Saraki, senior legislative aide , Wasiu Bamidele; among several others.

Ajadi and Gbenga Power were Kwara South ADC and Ifelodun/Offa/Oyun ADC senate and reps candidates respectively in the National Assembly elections held on February 25 2023-Team@orientactualmags.com
