INEC Declares 2023 Adamawa Guber Election Inconclusive

Nigerians are waiting feverishly to know who will eventually become the governor-elect of Adamawa state, however, this will definitely not happen today as the electoral umpire; the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced on Monday that the gubernatorial election has been declared inconclusive.
The state had gotten a great deal of public attention since Saturday.
,
APC guber candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru popularly known as Binani had gotten 390, 275 votes while Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the PDP, who is seeking re-election, had 421,524 votes before the decision of the electoral umpire to declare the guber election inconclusive.
The collation officer had submitted that a winner could not be declared because the number of the collected PVCs at over 37,000 is more than the vote margin that had made Governor Ahmadu Fintiri have an edge over Aishatu.
