Borno Assembly Member-Elect, Nuhu Clark , Dies In India
Dr. Nuhu Clark, who won the House of Assembly Election held in Chibok State constituency , Borno state on March 18 2023, is dead.
Clark , who was serving as Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation, had resigned from his position to join the assembly race on April 25, 2022.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned he died in India on Monday while undergoing treatment, the State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Information and Culture, Abakura Abbajatau, has also confirmed his death adding that the state government would soon make an official statement after getting in touch with the family of the deceased politician.
The state Deputy Governor, Umar Kadafur, has also described Nuhu’s death as a huge loss to his immediate family, the people of Southern Borno and the state at large.
He also described the lawmaker-elect’s death as a great loss to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in view of his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the state.
