Lagos: 41-Year-Old Man Who Battered Woman After Touching Her Breasts Remanded In Custody
A Magistrates’ Court in Badagry on Friday ordered that 41-year-old Ibrahim Lemo, who battered a young lady after touching her breasts without her consent, should be remanded in a correctional facility .
Lemo had gotten the victim, Zainab Babalola beaten up after asking him to stop the unlawful act
The Chief Magistrate, Fadahunsi Adefioye ordered that Lemo should be remanded in custody after pleading guilty to the assault charges preferred against him.
Adefioye ordered that the defendant should be remanded in Awhajigoh Correctional Centre, Badagry and adjourned the case until April 14 for facts and sentencing.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the prosecutor, Clément Okuoimose, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, had told the court that the defendant committed the offences at the Badagry Roundabout shopping complex, Badagry, Lagos on April 6 at 2.30 p.m.
Okuoimose said Lemo touched Zainab’s breasts and also hit her left eye and caused her harm after warning him to stop touching her breasts.
The prosecutor said the offences contravened Sections 134 and 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos state, 2015- Team@orientactualmags.com
