29-Year-Old Man Wins Reps Seat In Imo
Mr. Akarachi Amadi, who is 29 years old, has been declared winner of the supplementary election held in Mbaitoli/ Ikeduru Federal Constituency , Imo state on Saturday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made this declaration on Sunday night.
Prof Boniface Okoro , who was the Retuning Officer, said the APC candidate got 21,372 votes , Uche Ogbuagu of the Labour Party had 18,296 votes, the present occupant of the parliament seat ,who was the APGA candidate, Henry Nwawuba, got 7,202 votes while the PDP candidate, Usmond Ukanacho, had 6,681 votes.
It was gathered that the LP candidate was leading in the election held on February 25 but the election had to be suspended as a result of violence- Team@orientactualmags.com
