Dismissed Cop , 2 Others Arrested For Robbery In Bauchi
A dismissed police constable, Muhammed Jawat, 27 years, and two others; Muhammed Ahmed, 27 years, and Hussaini Ahmad, 19 years, have been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Bauchi state.
They were arrested for robbery and unlawful possession of firearm.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned spokesman for Bauchi state Police Command, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
‘The Command swiftly carried out an operation on 25/04/2023 at about 1630hrs and arrested three suspects; Muhammed Ahmed m aged 27yrs of Kofar Dumi, Bauchi metropolitan area, Hussaini Ahmad m aged 19yrs of Itas-Gadau LGA and Muhammed Jawat ‘m’ aged 27yrs, a dismissed Police (constable)of Tulu village, Toro LGA.
On receiving the report from a good Samaritan in Jamaare LGA, a team of policemen were drafted to the motor park and they arrested the aforementioned suspects.
During interrogation and search, one locally- made revolver pistol and two empty shells were found in their possession, and they could not give a satisfactory answer when questioned and asked to explain what they were doing with the prohibited firearm.
