Ibrahim Ajia Congratulates Gov AbdulRazaq  On His 2nd Inauguration, Urges Support For His Administration

Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia , who was the Asa/Ilorin-West PDP reps  candidate  in the House of Representatives election held  on  February 25 ,2023,  has congratulated  the governor of Kwara state, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on his second inauguration.    He has also urged him to deliver on his campaign promises of good governance, economic growth, and social development.

Alhaji Ajia in  a statement issued in Abuja on Monday which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Director of Communications, Malam Abdulrahman Aliagan  noted that the people of Kwara state have once again, placed their trust in Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as he gets inaugurated for his second term yesterday.

Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia

‘I want to congratulate Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as  he takes the oath of office for  his second term and I urge him to continue to prioritize the interests of the people of Kwara state and deliver on  his campaign promises of good governance, economic growth, and social development.

I also call on the governor to redirect his focus and channel a new course in tackling the numerous challenges that lie ahead of the office he occupies; I want to advise him to work with all stakeholders to build a better Kwara where lives of all citizens of the state would be meaningfully improved’ he said.

Ajia also  noted that Kwarans expect transparency and accountability in the governance process  submitting that ‘I want to equally advise you to run an open and honest government bearing in mind that there are consequences for any actions or inactions that you may take while in office and to bear in mind that power is transient’.

He urged  the governor to ensure that everyone is treated equally and fairly under the law, regardless of their social status, political or religious affiliations.

The Abuja-based security expert also  reminded Governor AbdulRahman that Kwarans expect good policies that will lead to economic growth and development in terms of job creation, investment in infrastructure and provision of basic amenities including water, electricity, and healthcare as well as a security architecture that will guarantee the protection of lives and property of Kwarans from internal and external threats like terrorism, banditry, and other forms of criminal activities.

The governor should also according to him  run an inclusive and participatory government where Kwarans are made to be critical stakeholders in the decision-making process and their opinions and contributions are considered by the government.

Ajia however urged all Kwarans to support  Governor Abdulrahman to succeed in his second term  so that the dividends of democracy can be visible in the state.

‘As a Muslim, I strongly believe that only Almighty Allah gives power to whom He wishes at appointed time, and it is expected of every true Muslim to pray for anybody that God has put in leadership position and support them to succeed’ he added-Team@orientactualmags.com
