Kwara: Shesan Abegunde Says He’s Leaving PDP To Focus On Family, Business
A popular young politician in Kwara state, Comrade Shesan Philip Abegunde , has announced his decision to leave the leading opposition party in the state, PDP.

Abegunde in a statement issued in Ilorin which was made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday night noted that he had done this in order to focus on his family and business.
The young politician , an indigene of Ekan Meje, Oke-Ero Local government, did not however disclose his new party or clarify if he had actually taken a decision to quit politics or not.
He thanked former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for the privilege given to him to serve in the party, while adding that ‘my sincere gratitude goes to the party (PDP)executives at all levels’.
He also expressed appreciation to a former PDP reps candidate, Engineer Dare Bankole while giving reasons for his decision to leave the party.
‘I will be ungrateful if I don’t appreciate my wonderful mentor and benefactor; the Irepodun/ Isin/ Ekiti / Oke Ero PDP House of Representatives candidate in the 2023 reps election, Engr Dare Bankole for his love and the trust reposed in me all through the electioneering process in 2019 and the just concluded 2023 elections. This resignation is a personal decision for me, my family and my business’ Comrade Shesan added.
