Gov Nasir Idris Bids Kebbi Pilgrims Farewell At Hajj Camp

Governor Nasir Idris, who is the Kauran Gwandu, was at the Hajj Camp in Birni Kebbi on Saturday to say goodbye to residents and citizens of Kebbi state , who would be performing this year’s hajj in Mecca and Medinah.
.He has urged them to be of good conduct and character.
The governor’s media aide, Mr. Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that he added that pilgrims from the state had always been law abiding and should therefore keep up such virtues.
He noted that this would be the first hajj operation on his watch as the state governor and he had tried his best to ensure that pilgrims from the state get airlifted from the Birnin Kebbi Airport but God had however destined that they would do so from the Sokoto Airport.

Dr. Nasir Idris urged the pilgrims to regard this development as an act of God disclosing that he would also perform Hajj this year to enable him identify aspects in need of improvement.
The governor gave an assurance that all arrangements for the comfort and welfare of the pilgrims have been finalized in Saudi Arabia.
Governor Idris urged the pilgrims to fervently pray for the success of the nation’s leaders as well as peace and prosperity in Nigeria.
The state Amirul Hajj, a one-time Minister of Internal Affairs , retired General Muhammadu Magoro told the governor that everything has been put in place to ensure smooth conduct of this year’s Hajj operation.
Eighteen medical doctors and other health workers would according to him accompany the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia to cater for their health needs.
He also disclosed that fourteen committees have been set up to ensure proper welfare of the pilgrims.
