Guinness World Records: 16-Year-Old Indian Girl Breaks Longest Dance Marathon Record

A 16-year-old Indian girl, Srushti Sudhir Jagtap, has earned the Guinness World Records for longest dance time.

Srushti had done this for 127 hours and she has overtaken Bandana Nepal, who had a previous record of 126 hours in 2018.

Official Adjudicator of the Guinness World Records, Swapnil Dangarikar, said the dance marathon was held at Srushti’s school auditorium and it was witnessed by her supporters and her parents.

Jagtap started the marathon dance on Monday, May 29, and ended this in the afternoon of Saturday, June 3.

Guinness World Records noted on Wednesday that a recognized dance style must be done to the standards required, and the participant’s feet must be moving to the music at all times to achieve such a record.

Team@orientactualmags.com  learned Jagtap danced in the Kathak style, one of the eight primary genres of Indian classical dance.

Jagtap , who was trained by her grandfather, Baban Mane, spent 15 months preparing for the dance marathon.

She had her rest time mostly at midnight when she napped or talked to her parents-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us? Do you want us to cover your event or programme? Kindly send SMS to 08059100286, 09094171980. Thank you
