Oyun LG APC Stakeholders Condemn Ismaila Tijani’s Decision To Vote Against Speaker Abass, Benjamin Kalu
APC stakeholders in Oyun Local Government, Kwara state, on Wednesday condemned Rep Ismail Kayode Tijani’s decision to vote against Speaker Tajudeen Abass and his deputy, Hon. Benjamin Kalu in the leadership elections held during the inaugural session of the 10th House of Representatives in Abuja on Tuesday.
Hon. Rasheed Kolawole Balogun – (Irra ward), Chief Rasheed Kunle Ijadunola (Erin Ile South ), Shade Lawal Hajjii white (Erin Ile North ), Elder Kayode Ajiboye (Ijagbo ward ) , Engr Adeolu Sayomi (Igosun ward) , Hon Olumide Dada ( Ipee ward), Dr Shade Usman ( Ojoku ward), Rafiu Sanni (Erin Ile South ), Hon Rasaq Adisa ( Ikotun ward), Engr Bode Afolayan (Erin Ile South ), Hon Fatai Hassan ( iIemona ward), Engr Ismail ( Aho ward), Omotosho Sikiru Olasco ( Igboona ward), Hon Mufutau Suleiman ( Igboona ward), Hon Adeniran Adeyemi ( Ijagbo ward), and Hon Aliu Rauf (Erin Ile North ) in a joint statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com accused the federal lawmaker, who represents Oyun/Offa/Ifelodun federal constituency, of working against the interest of his Local Government, his party and the Kwara state government.
‘We wish to state unequivocally that the good people of Oyun LGA especially those in the All Progressives Party ,APC remain resolute, dedicated and loyal to the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our amiable governor, Mall Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq. As such, working against their policies, decisions and plans by our representative in the green chamber, Hon Ismail Kayode Tijani is condemned by us in strong terms.
We therefore dissociate ourselves from his misdemeanors anti- party stunts as manifested openly on the floors of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, especially now that our governor has recorded an improvement with regard to his status having become the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
We warn Hon Tijani to henceforth desist from all actions that may further give our Local Government a national disgrace like the one he had just done’ the statement said-Team@orientactualmags.com
