KWASSIP Gives Update On Kwapreneur 4.0

Kwara state Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) has given an update on the application for KWAPRENEUR 4.0, weeks after the application portal was closed after a period of one month. 

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Thursday noted that KWAPRENEUR 4.0 received 11,696 applications from people in the 16 local governments.

‘Applications were received from  people of different  professions such as fashion designing, small-scale provision business, agriculture, transportation services, and much more.

Below is the breakdown of the 11,696 applications: 3467 agribusinesses (farming, foodstuffs, productions, and agro machineries); 340 constructions; 1,155 food processing; 1,278 manufacturing; 74 transportation; 1159 ICT; 4,091 Trade; and 132 retail. 

96% of the applicants fall between the ages of  18 and  40 years. At the same time, the ratio of males to females was 59.80% to 40.20%.    

At this juncture, it is important to inform members of the public that our team of professionals is currently screening these applications to select the ones that meet up with the requirements and criteria of the programme. 

Starting from this week, successful applicants will begin to receive text messages to inform them of the next stage of the process to determine the final beneficiaries of the Kwapreneur 4.0. 

We want to appeal to members of the public to continue to support the programme and the Abdulrazaq administration which has continued to show concern for the welfare of every member of the society.
