28-Year-Old Man Arrested For Declaring War On Igbo People In Osun…His Controversial Tweet
A resident of Osun state, Kehinde Adekusibe, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned 28-year-old Kehinde Adekusibe got in the soup after tweeting to declare war on the Igbo people.
Spokesperson for the state police command, Yemisi Opalola, disclosed in a statement on Friday that Adekusibe had on May 18, called for the killing of Igbo people living in Yorubaland.
Opalola said immediately the tweet was noticed, security agents had swung into action and those attached to the Cybercrime section of the State Criminal Investigation Department had traced the suspect to Ilesa, where he was apprehended.
‘Osun police command has arrested one Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe ‘m’ 28 years who violated the social media policy on hate speech.
It would be recalled that on 18th May, 2023, the suspect, Kehinde Adekusibe, on his twitter handle; tweeted ‘Let’s kill all the Igbos. Let’s flush them out of Yoruba land. I hate these people with passion. They are violent people. They are worse. They hate us. Let’s hate them without holding back’.
Immediately the police command received the report, police detectives from cybercrime section at SCID, Osogbo swung into action and through intelligence-led investigation, suspect was arrested at Ilesa where he hibernated’ she said-Team@orientactualmags.com
