40-Year-Old Man Arrested For Raping 8- Month Pregnant Woman In Benue

An okada rider,  Akpo Igwe , has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Benue state.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that 40-year-old Akpo has been accused of raping an eight-month-old pregnant woman.

He reportedly raped the 25-year-old woman last week Wednesday at Irabi Council Ward , Obi Local Government, Benue state.

 The woman, who was returning home from the market, had flagged down  Akpo  and asked him  to take her to her residence  and she was more than surprised when the okada rider rather took her to the bush path and raped her.

‘The incident happened last week Wednesday at about 7:00 pm when the woman was returning from the market. She flagged down an okada man and asked him to take her home.

So, on their way home, the okada man diverted from the main road to a nearby bush, held her down, and raped her.

In the process, the woman passed out and the bike man, thinking that the woman had died,  took her body to the river bank and left her there.

When we found her in that state we quickly rushed her to the hospital while the matter was also reported at the nearest police station leading to the arrest of the culprit’ a source said.
