Osun Varsity Suspends Female Student Who Invited Wooer To Ikire To Get Robbed

Victory Ehiremen made the news earlier in the week after getting arrested and taken into custody by the police for tricking his wooer into travelling to Ikire , Osun state from Lagos state only to get robbed and made to part with N1.5 million.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Victory, a student at the Osun state University, Osogbo, has apart from being made to stay behind bars also gotten suspended by the institution.
Victory and the unlucky wooer had met via WhatsApp and she had invited him to Ikire apparently to spend quality time with her but sadly, the man got what he did not bargain for.
He was reportedly assaulted and made to release his phone and a sum of N1.5 million was transferred from his bank account, Victory, however, said on Wednesday that she only witnessed how he was dealt with but was unaware that he was made to part with money.
Vice- Chancellor of Uniosun, Prof. Clement Adebooye, said the decision to suspend Victory from the institution was taken after considering the statement she wrote at the police station and the intelligence reports made available to the university noting that the institution has a tradition of excellence with many of its old students excelling in their various endeavors.
‘The case of Ahiante Victory Ehiremen came as a shock to us, though she is in her first year of study. I got a security report with regard to her case, and with the official information available, an allegation of conspiracy and robbery has been established against her by the police .
Consequently, she was taken into custody by the police for further investigations and prosecution. Ahiante Victory Ehiremen’s alleged involvement in a criminal act was in violation of her matriculation oath. She has made a written statement which the University has considered alongside the available intelligence reports.
The University authorities have therefore decided that Ms Ahiante Victory Ehiremen should be placed on indefinite suspension in line with regulations guiding studentship pending the determination of her case according to the law of the Federation’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
