The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate , Akogun Komorudeen Lere Oyewumi has felicitated Muslims in the country on the start of the new year, 1445 AH, and he has urged the Muslim faithful in Osun state and Nigeria as a whole to sustain the virtues of Hijrah as preached by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
In a statement issued in Abuja and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com Senator Lere Oyewunmi , who represents Osun West in the senate, called on the Muslim faithful to use the occasion to imbibe and promote the virtues of humility, love, peace, harmony, and mutual co-existence which the prophet exemplified.

Oyewunmi, a devout Muslim, who holds the chieftaincy title of Mayegun Adinni of Irewole/Isokan/Ayedaade federal constituency, prayed God Almighty to ‘let the new year bring ease and an end to the economic hardships attendant with the increase in the pump price of petrol in the country’.
‘I wish all the Muslim faithful in the country most especially those from Osun state a Happy New Year. As God has spared our lives to witness another year, I implore us to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Mohammed.
Hijrah is more than a celebration of a new Islamic calendar, it is loaded with lessons of love, humility and pain, and mutual co-existence, it is thus expedient that we remain prayerful for the stability of the economy of our country,
While wishing you all a prosperous and eventful new year, accept my utmost felicitations with the assurance of responsive and rewarding representation’ he said-Team@orientactualmags.com
