We’ve Taken Steps To Prevent Late Payment Of Salary This Month, FG Assures Civil Servants
The Federal Government has assured public sector employees that there will nothing like late payment of salary this month, July 2023.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Accountant General of the Federation, Oluwatoyin Madein gave this assurance during an interactive session with journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.
Media reports had submitted that there were delays in the payment of May and June 2023 salaries.
Madein however explained on Tuesday that the late payment of salary for the months of May and June 2023 was due to some bottlenecks beyond the control of the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
Modalities have according to her been put in place to ensure that public sector employees get paid as and when due.
‘For May and June, we encountered some difficulties beyond our control, but I can assure you that everything has been put in place to ensure that July 2023 salaries are not delayed and will be paid any moment from now’ she said-Team@orientactualmags.com
